TESOL Ontario and PBLA certified ESL teacher with a Master's and Bachelor's in TESL and a minor in Spanish from Brock University . Dedicated and creative instructor whose lifelong passion has always been helping others and educating others in order to help them reach their goals. Having a wide variety of teaching experience and an ability to learn new skills has allowed for continuous professional development. Expertise in creating real world tasks and assessments based on students' needs as well as developing customized Quartz courses and integrating technology in the classroom productively.
Working in different types of institutes as well as countries has provided world knowledge that is priceless in the ESL classroom. Learning Spanish as an adult in South America brought first person perspective as a learner and an immigrant.
Previous work experience in the hospitality industry gave the advantage of already having many transferable skills for teaching such as: multitasking, working under pressure, providing excellent, customer service, assessing needs of others, problem solving and much more.
Being an energetic and passionate person keeps the class energy levels up and the materials stimulating. Eager to grow professionally as an educator, curriculum developer and a writer to help others on a larger scale in order to help as many people as possible.
